Schools and Education
The Pasadena Unified School District is comprised of five high-schools, three middle schools, and twenty-four elementary schools. More and more students have been enrolling and being accepted at prestigious and accredited colleges, including Caltech, Occidental, USC, the Claremont Colleges, the UC and Cal State systems of universities, as well as many out-of-state private and public institutions.
Institutions of higher education located in Pasadena or the immediate surrounding area include the California Institute of Technology, Art Center College of Design, Pasadena City College, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts West.
