The city of Pasadena as well as the surrounding area offers a wide range of activities and attractions for visitors and residents of all ages. The Kidspace Children’s Museum features interactive exhibits for children aged 2-9. The one-of-a-kind museum features 20 interactive exhibits and two acres of gardens, waterways and outdoor learning environments. The Norton Simon Museum contains over 2000 years of art from the Western world and Asia. The Pacific Asia Museum features art from the various countries of Asia. The Pasadena Museum of California Art hosts temporary exhibits from Californian artists and is dedicated to the exhibition of California art, architecture, and design from 1850 to the present.

The ornate Italian Renaissance Wrigley Mansion is located on 4.5 acres. The home, with its warm wood paneling, Italian marble fireplace and brocade wallpaper, is open from February through August. The fragrant gardens, which contain hundreds of varieties of roses, camellias and annuals, are open to the public year-round. Today, the home is the headquarters for the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association.

Old Pasadena is a 22-block historic area filled with more than 130 retail stores, art galleries, trendy boutiques, antique shops, and vintage clothing stores. Paseo Colorado is a three-block, open-air urban village featuring 65 street-front retail shops, eight restaurants and outdoor cafes. The Pasadena Antique Center is an oasis for antique collectors, offering more than 130 antique merchants in one convenient location.
